Insert View tool not showing dimensions

I'm really stuck as to why using the Insert View tool from the Layout tab is not showing any of my dimensions, I've not had this problem before and have attached the file in the hope that someone can shed light on exactly what's happening here?

I got ya.  The dimensions that you are using are annotative dimensions.  If you select the dimensions in the model go to the properties and add the necessary Annotative Scale.  If it's not on the list it won't show up... if it is then it will show up.  The dimension is designed to scale appropriately as well.

Your scale for them is set to 1:1 and the viewports are 1:2.

Alternatively you can set ANNOALLVISIBLE to 1 and they will always show.

Hi @office6PUWT

@Anonymous is correct. You're dimensions are annotative and the scale which is set in modelspace (1:1) is not matching with the view's scale created using "insert view"(1:2).

You could also see that the hatch is also missing in the view since the hatch is also annotative. You can either set the system variable "ANNOALLVISIBLE" to "1" or remove the annotative properties of the dimensions and the hatch. Else match the annotative scale between the view and model space🙂
