Imported Solidworks Files

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hey everyone, So I created several Solidworks parts to a jewelry box. I am needing to import them to Autocad to set up my etching and cutting layers to send to the laser cutter. When I import the front part of the box it imports showing the correct view of the part. However, when I import the side, base and top parts they import showing the edge of the part rather than the face of the part. Can I manipulate the viewpoints of individual imported files within the same drawing on Autocad so that I can fit all of the parts on the modeling space?

Hi @Anonymous,

I just found your post. Did you figure this out? I suspect that if you use UCS>View and then select Front, back, sides, etc you will be able to see each of the views from Solidworks.
