Imported PDF to CAD with text shown like boxes on each.

To the expert here. This is rarely happening to me when converting/importing PDF to CAD. I want to know how this happen and how you fix this. Please see attachment for your reference. Many thanks to the immediate responses to this issue......

Can you check if the "TrueType text" option is ticked when you using PDFIMPORT?

Try changing your PDFSHX (System Variable) to 0.

Valentin-WS, thanks to your response. I did the sequence, and still no success. I guess the PDF is corrupt and I will ask the owner to re-print it or send the CAD file if available instead. Thanks anyway.

Thanks for the PDF: it looks like this file never started life in AutoCAD at any point, which may be your challenge
