Image insert different on 1 system

There a 24 systems in my department. We have a lisp routine that inserts an image into drawings. It works on all of the systems but 1. On that system the image inserts smaller. All of the systems insert at a scale of 22 and it looks correct except for that one system. It says it's scale is 22, but it looks like it's scaled to 5. INSUNITS is set to 1 on all systems.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

if you start command -DWGUNITS, are all systems also showing here the same units?

Also maybe interesting: how are the images inserted, are you using Vanilla AutoCAD, or RasterDesign, or maybe Map3D/or Civil3D using MAPIINSERT or MAPCONNECT?

perhaps you can use etransmit to share the dwg including the image in the zip file created from the good workstation vs the bad workstation and upload them here for community to review?

Perhaps if the problem occurs on an image that is not confidential that would be an option to share that.

Does the problem occur if the lisp routine is not used but just a manual insert or attach of the image?

22/5 is a weird scale value - 4.4 or 0.2273  which dont seem close to the standard 12 or 1/12 or 25.4 or 3.2808 or .3048 that is related to inch/feet/metric conversions.  The insert unit commands typically are stored per drawing, did you make sure that the starting template was the same?  What about running a list of all the system variables and comparing them?  Express tools has a command that can pull the list.  I think you can export it, then use Compare within Notepad ++ to compare the two systems.

Is the odd pc using the same version of AutoCAD? Command options can change between versions.

@spykat

I've seen this happen before.

IF the image inserts correctly then the other objects might be at fault. If those other objects are too big, then your image will appear to be to small. If you insist your image is inserting correctly at the correct scale (and it looks like you are) then look at the other objects in your drawing because analyzing the image's scale again and again while expecting the image to resize on its own, isn't going to solve your issue.

If you insist both the image and the other objects are at the correct scale, then someone else needs to diagnose (1) your image, (2) your drawing file, and (3) your insertion procedure. Any of those 3, or a combination of those 3, will need correction.

Hi,

>> someone else needs to diagnose

Want to add ... or (4) plugins/tools installed on that one system which are not installed on the others and (5) different servicepacks installed for AutoCAD.
