Ideas for transferring drawings over the internet

I am about to start working on a project where I will have maybe 2 or 3 people doing simple drawings for me and was trying to think of a good way to send the drawings back and forth.

Has anyone else come up with a good plan on how to do it?

I was thinking about opening a dropbox account and sharing it with my co-workers.

Thanks,

Steve

Dropbox is probably the easiest since it automatically synchronizes and it's free.  Just make sure only one person is working on the files at a time then you won't run into problems.  Once synchronized, that person will have to stop working on it, until the next person is done and the files are synchronized again.

Dropbox is good and reliable.  You do have to be careful not to delete the "cloud" copy when you delete a copy from your hard drive.  File syncing is fairly fast.  It is not free. A 3 person business license is $12- $15 per month.

If you are just going to send a few files back and forth you might consider Google Drive which  is free.

DropBox
Google Drive
Microsoft's OneDrive
Box
and a few hundred others out there
To name a few that can be free or not depending on the volume you need.

Hi @spaulus

You might consider trying A360.  I like to load files to my A360 drive and then  share with others. They can view the files, add comments, download them and even use versioning.

Hi @spaulus,

You can certainly send them the block library instead of the separate block drawings. You should also write up a description for them that describes how they might extract the blocks or create a Tool Palette using Design Center.
