I have to 'regen' all the time to get right linetype presentation

It always shows continuous straight lines, I can 'regen' every time to get the right scale but it is annoying. What's the reason for it and is there a system variable to manage this, please? Thank you.

Have you tried setting REGENMODE to 1?

You can try to run ACAD 2015-202X with : LINEFADING & LINESMOOTHING = Disabled

And if ACAD 2016-2019, please HQGEOM = 0

And then a REGEN ...
