I cannot erase some shapes in AutoCAD 2020

Hi All,

I can't seem to edit/erase some shapes in AutoCAD 2020. After pressing the erase button in the modify panel, the shapes and the enter button, nothing happens. The shape is still there. I'm not sure why.

How much more suggestions within an hour are you expecting than you have got?

The solution would be much more easy if you could send us the dwg-file, maybe delete everything else (so only the critical object is visible), save this file with a new name and upload this file.

And are you really not abler to upload a copy with the proxy elements only?

Set PROXYNOTICE = 1 and open the file, there is a list

of one or more missing applications - share the application- and company names.

May i ask "what represent" the object?

a wall, a gear, a tree ?

Check sys var "pickfirst" and set it to 1.  Ensure layers are not locked.
