How to select a new start point

Hi all,

This situation can pertain to many different commands.. a few would be copy, move, mirror,.... commands that have a start point and end point.

Here is the scenario..

In the drawing, I have selected many different objects. It took quiet some time to select these objects.

I type "copy" in the command line and hit enter.

The start point is clicked but I don't like that start point and want to select a different start point.

How do I click on a different start point while keeping everything selected?

In other words, redo the start point and still have everything selected.

Thanks for the help.

Just Esc and COPY (Enter) P (Enter)  [P for Previous selection], then specify base point.

just restart the move command and when asked to select objects , enter the letter P

If you just want the last item enter the letter l

You can also look into using groups.
