How to make a proper surface fillet

Not applicable

Hello!

I'm now working on my final year project and currently designing reversed spiral cylinder but now I'm having a little problem with creating the corner.

The corners of the structure were supposed to look like this:

But I failed to do so. This is the close look of one of the corner:

I drew the lines first and then turn it as plane using PLANESURF, and then applied the fillet by using SURFFILLET.

But then the fillet turned out to be that way, I have tried another solution, but could not find one.

Do you guys mind to help me solve this problem?

Hello!

I hope you're doing well in those hard times.

It would be really helpful if you could share with the community the .dwg file.

I haven't been able to look at your drawing yet, but I would make sure all those surfaces are combined in a single surface (with _UNION) before filletting the edges. If they are separate entities then the fillet will be applied on their edges without taking into account other neigbouring surfaces. If they are one surface, then I suspect the fillet will function as intended.

Thank you for the reply!

I have tried combining the surfaces into a single surface and  wanted to apply fillet on the edges, but I could not click on the surfaces I intended to apply as shown as below 😞
