Hi there,
I am trying to use AutoCAD to create a '.dxf' file for a front panel (of a case) for Modushop.biz's CNC machine.
I have done this before using Visio (which can output a .dxf file) but they have a new CNC machine which seems to have difficulty reading the text produced by a Visio .dxf file. So Modushop.biz suggested I use AutoCAD, instead.
All I am trying to do is:
But I have absolutely no idea how to achieve this!
Thanks for your help.

Sorry, cadder, I can't see how to attach a file (eg. the .dxf file produced by Visio) to my post?
Also, I notice you have included some of my last post in your answer. Whereas I can just see how to 'Reply'?
Other Fora offer a choice of:
But I can't see how to do #2, here?
Thanks,
Andy

See this screencast: https://autode.sk/2n464cB
To attach a file, scroll down, then ...
OK? Have you seen how I did it?
And you have also seen how to include the content of a posting.
If you want to add another cit, repeat this:
@Anonymous schrieb:But I can't see how to do #2, here?
Now you can answer to second cit.
And if you want to cit from another post, do it again ...

Other Fora offer a choice of:
- 'Reply' - iow, just write your text, as an independent reply, and
- 'Quote' - write your text directly in response to a previous reply.
But I can't see how to do #2, here?
….
To attach a file, look below the Screencast box:
To quote, you pick Reply and then you have the option to include quoting in the upper right:
