how to batch plot "plot to file" ?

batch plots works fine for the pdf, dwf and dwfx options.

but i also want to batch plot using the option "plot to file",   (where i work, this configuration creates .plt).

*i know in order to batch plot i need to set in advance all the plot settings before,  but autocad doesnt seem to remember the "plot to file" option.

Hi,

Right, nothing to do with batchplot, this option is simply not part of a pagesetup.

But you can set up a plot configuration (.pc3) with "plot to file" is enabled!

Create/Edit .pc3 file, look at tab "General".

Have you tried to create a Plot to PLT PC3 file to use in Publish?

Blast from the past. I was not aware anyone still printed HP-GL/2 plot files these days.

Not quite correct.

Basic PUBLISH tip for what you desire:PUBLISH RULE OF THUMB:
1. Launch Publish from a drawing that is not part of the publish set, but is configured with all your possible sheets and plotter options (like your plot to file choice).
2. Bring in all the other drawings/tabs to be published.
3. Import the pagesetup desired from the template file (in your case, one set up for exacting desired output).
4. PUBLISH.
