How do I create a STB file?

I am new to this so not sure where to go. I have a base file that has all the layers, line weights and plotting setup in the layer dialog box, but I do not have the associated stb file to print. How do I create the missing stb file?

Can I create it from the info in the layer dialog box?

Is there a command that will do it for me?

Edit the page setup. Use the plot style edit button to the right of the styles listbox, then SaveAs to a new style. Or scroll to the bottom of the list and choose New...  You can also type the STYLESMANAGER command to display the Add-A-Plot Style Table Wizard in Windows Explorer.

1. Start STYLESMANAGER and AutoCAD will open the folder all of your plot style reside in.
2. Copy an existing STB, call it something unique to you, then double-click on it.
3. Edit away as you keep your layer pop-up next to it.

Note: your DWG file actually has to be set to use STB files: it will not automagically happen just because. If PLOT command will not show STB, use CONVERTPSTYLES or CONVERTCTB commands to flip your file over to the dark side.
