AutoCAD does not have a real watermark, but a lot of options to make it look like that.

Easiest way could be to place an image or a text or a block with an attribute in your layout, give it a light color (preferred) or make it transparent and every plot will see that text/image.

XREF a file with the words you want is the way to do it if you don;t like just writing the TEXT/MTEXT words across your drawing or your plotter driver does not offer it.
