Hi,
I am making a 3D drawing for the first time in many years and have tried to google for solutions to make my 3D extrusions/solids have a fill.
For example the blue marked block I'd like to have solid, not see though. How can I do this?
The hatch command does not recognise it.

Hi,
change the visual style to "conceptual" or "realistic" (>>>details<<<).

One way to find the options is to type SHADEMODE at the command line...
Thanks 😃
It helps for giving a fill which is what I need at the moment. Is there a way of being in control of what colours and patterns it takes on if needed in the future? When use the visual style as you suggest I have only managed to change the appearance based on the drawn lines' colour but not the pattern or fill.
Thank you 😃
Gets you the same alternatives as above suggestion, but helpful since I did not find the option at the property window until after a change of settings. With this command I could still change the appearance.
Hi,

You can assign materials to the objects, and each material has as basic info it's color, reflectivity, roughness, textures, bump-maps and a lot more ... >>>details<<<.

Hatches can be superimposed onto the face of 3dSolids. Out of the box, the process can be rather laborious but, depending on circumstance, may be worth the effort.
