Hidden line display

I just recently loaded AutoCad Lt 2025 and am having an issue with how some hidden lines appear in existing drawings. The hidden lines appear not to extend all the way to the end of the line.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Set GFXDX12 variable to 0 (that's a zero) then restart AutoCAD2025: see if the issue goes away.

If still no relief then start GRAPHICSCONFIG command and change the 2D Display Settings pulldown from "advanced mode" to one of the other choices.

If all else fails, then turn off Hardware Acceleration as a last resort, and start a support ticket through your subscription portal as explained here

That worked! I just needed to change the gfxdx12 to (0) and restart AutoCad.

Thank you very much.

Hi,

You have two methods of evaluating and changing any line scale (Linetype Scale or alias LTSCALE).

In Model Space...

Option #1 : Use the LTSCALE command to see the current scale (likely "1" if you have never used before).

You can set a new scale value and observe a change in appearance of a non-continuous linetype.  If no appearance change then you may need to regen your screen or you may be using a linetype that needs drastically different scale.

** This method sets the overall linetype scale for the entire drawing file.

Option #2: Select a target line/s and look at the properties GUI.  Observe the linetype scale setting for the selected entity/s (likely "1").

** If you alter that scale value it will only apply to the selected entity/s.

Hope that helps,
