Hi everyone,

 

Any idea on how to create the hemisphere solid shape (circled in red)?

Hi,

 

as seen from below image ... draw the base by array ( Polar ) the triangle shape . the idea is to draw one edge then Array it again as extruded element.

Here's another method that I think gives you a better top.

 

Create two arcs as follows.

Assuming the final design has 16 flutes rotate one of the lines by 11.25°  (360/32) about the vertical axis and then loft them the two lines.

Use 3dnirror to make the opposite surface and then make a polar array of the two surfaces specifying 16 items.
