help with dynamic input UI size

while working on a project the UI size of dynamic input blew up on me ... I have no idea why or how which in turns makes me unable to bring it back to its former self.

as they say a picture is worth a thousand word , the top example is how it normally looks like (taken from a different project)  the bottom example is what I'm currently dealing with.

while taking these screenshots I noticed that the polar tracking is also different , no idea if it makes a difference

i suggest from DDUNITS command to change length type .

my units are set properly and are identical to all of my other projects. it appears as if its strictly the UI that changed in size  for that one command only.

I did find a workaround, basically copy/paste everything I have from that project to a new file,  it only affects that one file for what ever reason .

sure it doesn't fix the problem , I still don't know how to actually fix it if it happens again but at least I'm able to work without it driving me crazy lol.

I don't see the difference, other than your UNITS are set differently.

strictly look at the UI (user interface)  beside the measurement of the line there is 2 circles ... the top example shows the regular size of the dynamic input UI

the 2nd example the circles are 10x bigger the UI changed in size somehow
