I want to fill the circle with a hatch pattern however the solid colour is blocking it. There is no options for 'use current' to allow me to have the hatch pattern. It is under a layer with a continuous linetype and white colour.

This is when it's important to show the Command line window so you can see the prompts and select the additional choices:

Now you can click on seTtings to open up the Hatch and Gradient dialog box:

Under Type & Pattern you can make the selections you want including Use Current for Color

Also by clicking on the arrow in the lower right hand corner you can see even more options to select from:

Hi,

@htoolwepawk

Looks like a wrong scale, that's all (guessing)

Draw a circle with rad=100 and try it again.

Feel free to share your .dwg, so we can test and show the problem.

@paullimapa

If you think he is talking about the issue is about hatch pattern and hatch color, both are available in ribbon too.

About the "use current" color: The option is available, but not working as expected. This Bug appeared 10 versions ago.

But: It works correctly if you set PROPERTYPREVIEW off (many thx to @BeekeeCZ)

Since OP specifically requested for 'use current' option for Hatch Colour", this is the issue.

This option only shows up once on the ribbon after entering the Hatch command without selecting any objects:

But after an object is selected or a point within the Circle is picked then that option is gone on the ribbon:

But when you click on seTtings to bring up the Hatch and Gradient dialog box, then that's where you still can have the option to select Use Current:

@htoolwepawk Where is your commandline please? Thank would tell us more in your image. You cannot ever hide it all the time either, this is not the program to do so, you are missing out on program feedback.
