Hatch adds 90 degrees to angle

When I enter a number in to the angle on the ribbon it changes. I enter 45 and it changes to 135, 90 to 180, 270 to 0.

If I change it anywhere else it stays at the number I entered. How can I fix this please?

since we don't have your drawing .... i suggest to check your UCS = World .

In addition to the UCS suggestion, also check for the values of [and read about in Help] the System Variables ANGBASE and SNAPANG.
