Hardware Acceleration on Surface Pro 3

Just got a Surface Pro 3 and on Autocad 2012 I can not turn hardware acceleration on, I know it has intergrated graphics but is there a work around or something I can adjust so that things are not so jumpy? This is an i7 8gb version of the surface and I only do 2d work no shading or 3d work at all. Very simple drawings. What can I do to make things look smoother on screen?

You are out of luck with the tablet: it's not designed for programs like AutoCAD in mind, whether you draw a few lines or a millions of them.
And R2012 is not supported by anyone in Windows 8/8.1 to boot.

Explore solutions posted here to try and fix the jumpy cursor thing, could be one of many issues:

Trying lowering the scaling... we had similar issues in Revit on Surfaces and the following helped us... became alot more stable after the change... http://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/revit-products/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/...
