Generating table in Autocad

Hi Experts

I was just trying to generate a table using table option in Auto cad. For my use, I want to add a serial number section as the first column. In the image attached, I have typed in the serial number. Is there any smart way to generate serial number like we do in excel. I have tried exporting an excel file to autocad, I didn't find that handy for editing.

Can some experts advice me on this ? Image attached.

Hi,

click on below image .. to see how it's work .

• Double click inside a cell .
• Enter a numeric . 
• Select the cell and Click the grip in the lower right corner.
• Drag the grip through the cells you would like to automatically increment.

When it come to 2 digits, the numbers are going multi line, I just need that in a single line. How could that be done ? What are the parameters that need to be adjusted to get required result.

it's work fine here !! you may need to change you're text style font , i'm using Arial . click on below image

attache here your CAD dwg sample for testing please ?

You have improper table settings !! start a new CAD dwg and see how it will work fine .
