I have a 3D drawing and I want to flatten the whole thing to 2D isometric drawing(including objects and dimension labels). I have tried the flatshot command, but it just freezes AutoCAD and doesn't work. I have attached the 3D drawing I want to flatten and was wondering if anybody could be of any help or if perhaps has a computer that is strong enough to use flatshot.
Thanks in advance.

Hi @Anonymous,
Perhaps your initial attempt to do this failed due to some drawing errors. I suggest that you run AUDIT to repair. I found 20 errors. After they were corrected I was able to run Flatshot without any issues.
Instead of breaking the 3D model;
In Paper space alter the viewpoint in a viewport to 1,-1,1, and you're looking at an iso of the 3D model.

Hi,
I am encountering the same problem with flatshot command. I have reviewed again the structure in 3D to avoid having modelling errors that would cause this issue.
Kindly find attached the drawing if anyone might have a solution to it.
Thanks in advance,

Hi @raissa92,
I think the issue you are seeing is because your geometry is made up of 3DFaces. Flatshot is intended to work with solids and surfaces. I changed some of your geometry so I could use a simple PRESSPULL to create walls that are 3D solids instead of faces. You will see in my video that once there are solids, FLATSHOT now works.

Ok,
Here we go,
I am trying to take a manufactured supplied 3D drawing and make some isometric drawings out of it. I have tried the suggestions that have been made here and it is not working for me. Can someone please see if they can help with this?
