Finding Surface Area of a complex 3D model

I'm working on an egg shaped 3D model. It's about 107" tall, base of ~103", max diameter of ~114", and a thickness of a little over an inch. Plus it has an access door in it. I'm trying to figure out how to get the surface area of the model.

Hi @Anonymous,

AutoCAD does not include this functionality.  If you are willing to share your drawing, I suspect that once imported into Fusion 360, it could be obtained.  I would like to try this if you can share the file.

I used the Area command and selected Object. I got 5808 sq feet which seems
accurate. I think that's all it takes.

Hi @Anonymous,

I am glad that you proved me wrong. Perhaps it relies on the type of 3D geometry. I tried this on a simple 3D box and it did not show an area (although I was looking in Properties). I am glad you got it to work!

I checked it with a simple 2" cube and did the same function and got 24 sq
inches.
Thanks for offering help!
