Finding point of specific distance between two lines

Hi everybody,

I was drawing a diagram of the elongation of bolts in engines, so I've got two intersecting lines at different angles. I now need to insert a line of a specific length in between those. I'm sure there is a simple way to find out where the horizontal distance between the two is the length I'm after but I was unable to figure it out. So if anybody could help me that would be awesome. PS: this is what I'm working on, and i need to find out where the distance between the angled lines equals the horizontal one.

Copy either angled Line using the desired-length horizontal Line's endpoints for the Copy displacement [or, without a desired-length horizontal Line already drawn, Copy it horizontally by the length desired].  Where the new Line intersects the other angled Line will be one end of the desired location.
