If you were to consider third party add-ons, DotSoft's ToolPac contains a Drawing Replace tool. Dialog example below showing one record from your list.

It processes multiple drawings quickly since they are treated as databases and not opened in the editor.  Script / Lisp combos tend to run slow and are subject to stopping before completion.  It's assignment specifications files are plain ascii, you could change your conversion table to one in about a minute in NotePad.

Hi,

Thanks for reply.

I am looking for free utility.

I don't want to type text for find and replace because I have huge number of text to tb replaced.

Hence input to be given in note pad file or excel file.

Regards,

Pradeep

Hi,

>> I am looking for free utility.

Besides of it seems to be free ...

You are searching for a tool to make your job to be done with less effort/less time and so to save money. But you are not willing to donate the developer for his working time? That's a bit a one-sided earn situation, other's work is not seen as honorable ... that's why I stopped supplying free tools because the work and time of developers are seen that way (nothing worth they do).

Hi,

I have tried this. But I have huge number (more than 300-400) of text to be replace.

I need to enter text  every time. I have list of these texts in note pad or excel. So that I can input this list for text replacement.

Is your text a text object or is it a multileader, attribute or other?

Attach an example of your dwg file

Hello Sir.

I respect you and other developers efforts as well.

I need this only for one time. All are asking queries. So I also asked.

Do not misunderstand me. I only asked for help. I am not making money by using your program's.

Thanks you.

How do you figure that? You are requesting a program to help you save time. Time is money, so yes, you are making more money by having this program to expedite the task.

No problem with that, it is very OK to ask, and a forum like that is the best place to do that.

My statement(s) about the developers efforts was simply because of "looking for a free utility". The statement "only for free" is something that hurts when you are developer spending efforts/time/... to create such tools.

But maybe there exists such a tool that is free, that does exactly what you want, then take it, and at least send a "thank you" to the developer.
