I've looked around and everything I could find for this says there is no way to sync these. I also looked for a place to make suggestions for AutoCAD and couldn't find anything. If there is another place I should post this, please let me know.
It would be great if there was a way to set viewports to always sync with specific layers states. As it is, every time I add a new layer, change a layer state, or make any changes to xrefs, all of my viewports will either lose their layer state setting, or at least need to be updated. It seems like a little bit of simple programming would allow for a specific layer state to be set for a viewport, making it automatically update every time the layer state is updated. I think it would make sense to put it under the "Misc" category in the properties.
This would save me an incredible amount of time spent double checking each layout before plotting and reduce the possibility of errors in my prints.
Thank you.
