FATAL ERROR: Unhandled e06d7363h Exception at fcd9a06dh

When I tried to open the program AutoCAD 2013 this error appears and the program is shutted down.

I have received an answer from Autodesk with the service pack 2 for AutoCAD 2013. I have installed it but the problem is still appearing.

I was working normally all week long, but on Friday it happened this.

Could somebody help me?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

>> but on Friday it happened this.

Then I have a few questions:

  • what happened on Friday on your system? Any new applications or updates installed, and what operating system do you have?
  • as today is Monday, is the error the same (with a new drawing)?

Hi @Anonymous,

I see that you are visiting as a new member. Welcome to the Autodesk Community!

What is the operating system on your computer? Graphics card and driver?

I would like you to try using the No Hardware switch when you use AutoCAD to see if comes up properly. This will turn off hardware acceleration.

Is this happening with all files?  Perhaps a Reset Settings to Default will help you with this error.

Hello John, thank you very much for your quick answer.

The operating system on my computer is Windows 7 Enterprise, with processor Intel Xeon CPU ES-2630 c2 @ 2.60Ghz, RAM installed 16GB and system type 64-bit Operating System.

The graphics card is NVIDIA Quadro K4000, Version 311.44 (driver).

I reset settings to default to try to solve the problem, but the error continued appearing.

In relation to your explanation, I installed one space mouse wireless (3dconnexion). After this, the problem appeared. Finally I have uninstalled this device and Autocad works correctly. I think the problem was the compatibility between the space mouse and Autocad. But it is curious that Inventor ran correctly with the device installed.

I am going to install the space mouse again and try to run autocad with your advice to use no hardware.

I let you informed about the status.

Best regards,

           Guillermo.

Hello again,

The problem continues appearing after try the No Hardware switch.

I have uninstalled the space mouse and it works correctly.

Do you know something in relation to compatibility between space mouses for 3D programs and Autocad? Which kind of space mouses could I use?

I`m sorry Alfred, I didn't see your message. The problem happens when I started Autocad directly, it is not dependent to the drawing I want to open. Which one I try to open, the error appears.

Thanks in advance,

Hi @Anonymous,

I am glad that you have been able to narrow it down to the Space Mouse.

I suggest that first you go here to verify that you have the most current driver from the manufacturer.

Then, I suggest you verify that you have all the updates from here applied to your AutoCAD installation.

Check the nVidia site as I believe there is a newer driver for you Display Adapter.

Then, I would suggest you go to their technical support page to see if they have some insight on why their driver is failing with AutoCAD 2013.

You might also check your Windows Event log to see if it throws any errors when your AutoCAD crashes with the mouse installed.

Have you customized any of the settings on the mouse prior to running AutoCAD?

Lastly, you might try a Diagnostic Startup to disable all the programs that run at Startup except Autodesk and the Space Mouse ones to see if you continue to see the crash.

Hi John,

I have followed your suggestion step by step.

I summarize you my actions.

I have checked that I have the most current driver from 3Dconnexions Space mouse.

I have verified my status with the updates to my AutoCAD. I downloaded the service pack 1 and 2 and when I have tried to run them, appears the following message.

Capture2.JPG

Later, I have update the nVidia driver. The problem continues appearing.

I went to their technical support page and there is nothing about this problem. I'm going to ask them directly.

Finally, I tried a Diagnostic Startup under your advice, but it was the same.

I will let you informed about the answer from 3Dconnexions (space mouse company).

Thank you and best regards,

   Guillermo.

Yep, out of dark remember there was something wrong with current version of 3Dconnexion, install an older driver (for AutoCAD it does not make a difference).

I have installed an older driver to the space mouse and all run correctly.

Guillermo,

I've encountered the exact same issues with my AutoCAD 2013. Earlier this week, I was having issues with my 3Dconnexion Space Navigator mouse. I contacted 3Dconnexion and they are having issues with the current 3DxWare driver for the 3D mouse. They suggest using the previous version of the driver (see my attached URL). I too had to remove all associative relations between my 3D mouse and AutoCAD and now AutoCAD opens just fine.

I'm glad I'm alone in this battle 🙂
