My AutoCAD version is 2018 and Windows 7.
It's not the first time. It happened once but I've managed to "solve" by coping my contents and pasting in another file, which doesn't work anymore...
TIA

Funny thing you mentioning the ribbon!
I'm an old school girl and I created a "classic" AutoCAD one.
Just out of curiosity a switched to 3D modeling and the error doesn't happen anymore!
And then I switched back to "classic" and no fatal error either!
Whatever is the issue it's not fixed but I'm glad it's working now!

Thanks dear,
Iam using AutoCad 2018, I have had the same error with editing materials, your instruction I used "after I change 3D modelling to Classic with rebooting my pc and reopening the file and changing it back to 3d moddeling"
It solved the problem.
Thank u so much!
