Fast shaded mode issues

We are finding that using the fast shaded mode presents limitations in ACAD. For example, when using fast shaded mode we cannot trim or extend properly, meaning some lines will trim/extend and others will not. Selection windows do not grab everything even though we are sure to completely window everything in. When we turn off fast shading, ACAD performs as it is intended. The simple answer is to leave it turned off, but if you have access to a nice feature like that it is a shame not to use it.

It's good to know the circumstances that you work in ... I wonder if you also face the same issue in a new CAD drawing ? you may have a Z axis values for some objects !!
