Exporting CLEAN images from a DWG to a WORD document ?

Hi !

My name is Greg, I teach metal working in Geneva, Switzerland.

As a teacher and I often need to export to Word documents and other formats some drawings I make on Autocad.

Usually some little drawings, no big things.

Stuff like that:

Is it possible to export them as clean as they are when printed and with the correct lines thicknesses ?

The best way I've used sionce now is to print them in PDF and make a capture of the PFD then paste it in the Word document but the quality is not 100%...

EPS prtinter method is not a solution for now since Microsoft doesn't support EPS images anymore.

I paste screenshot in MS Paint than crop it and save as jpeg or other format but quality is poor in word.

Yes, I for now I sadly still haven't found a practical way to have clean
results...

Have you seen the other suggestions like using PDF, this helps to get a better quality.

The Printing from CAD to PDF and then saving to jpg (600 dpi) works great.  I get very clean and crips linework.

or

Doing a copy link from CAD then paste special into Word as "Picture (windows Metafile)" also works very well.  FYI - you can modify your layout tab in CAD to Display Plot Styles - this will make your copylink look just like the intended plot.

Attached is an example word doc.  Page 1 is the PDF route, page 2 is the copy link route.

*Screen captures are not used.
