What scale ruler do architects use in Europe, and what is the most common scale that they use?
Like, in the US most common scale US is quarter inch equal to 1 foot. So what did they use in Europe?
For residential, that is.
I would think it would be metric, right?

Most common scale 1:100 (1 cm is 1 m) for plans, elevation views and section views. 1:50 is also used for small buildings. 1:200 is used for large buildings. For callout views most common scale 1:20, also 1:10.

That is a very good answer.
For me, I am thinking 1:50 for my work, similar to quarter inch = foot (1:48).
