Enhanced Attribute Editor visibilty

Hello,

I have a border/template which is a block, and that block is made up of only attributes, no geometry. My problem is when I delete all the attributes values in the template/border I can no longer see or find the enhanced attribute editor or reference block to enter new values. I usually just click in on one of the values which brings up the reference block then I enter the values. The problem is that if there are no values available there is no way I can find or open the enhanced attribute editor or reference block to enter the new values. See attached.

Is there a way to this?

Thanks

so why no just include a border or some geometry that you can click on ?

Thanks, I added a square to the block and saved the block/template/border/dwg but it's not visible for me to click on. Its only visible if I insert the bloc again and I don’t want to do that. How do I make that square visible in the original?

once you have saved the block with the extra border bit to click on, i would delete the orig and use the insert command and bring the block back in again. just make sure you put a mark somewhere so you can insert it back into its orig location if you arent using (0,0,0) as an insertion point.

For existing ones, try to Syncronys from BATTMAN command.

Thats why you should never create a block with attdefs only!

Add a Line on a non-plot layer!
