I usually have a ton of blocks/x-refs in blocks. It would be nice if the REFEDIT dialog box would open with all the tree items collapsed so I can quickly find and open the ones I'm looking for instead of searching through a list of hundreds of items or manually collapsing a bunch of them. Is there a variable or something that controls how the nested tree items are shown when invoking the REFEDIT command?

Can't see what you see over there @Christopher.Verderame , try again?

OR... Start using CLASSICXREF command instead, that older command is still around and works the way you want I believe, hope that helps.

Not the x-ref manager, the REFEDIT command for editing blocks in place.  The dialog box opens up with every block/x-ref tree item expanded like in the first pic. I want it to open more like the second pic where all the tree items are collapsed.

Sorry I misunderstood, and thanks for the screenshots.
Not much you can do about that pop-up if that far bottom choice on that pop-up does nothing for you.

BEDIT command to edit blocks and XOPEN to edit XREFs are alternatives worth exploring.
