Editing in Paper Space Without Making any changes in Other (Paper space)Layout

Hi,

I have got a Project in which Customer is asking to change in a particular layout sheet, without making any changes in other Layout sheet..

Ex:- I have Model Space, A Layout, B Layout, C Layout and I need to make some changes like Deleting, updating in a particular A Layout without making any changes in other layouts. How this can be done?

Hi and Welcome to AutoCAD Forum,

>>  I need to make some changes like Deleting, updating in a particular A Layout without making any changes in other layouts.<<

Layouts viewports show all model layout elements as a window . i mean that VP's can show all model elements in one vp or a just certain area depending on the scale factor and what exactly we want to show. SO you can make changes in model layout at the area where A Layout zoom in . since we don't have your drawing this is a general answer for a usual and general situation .

If you change the model, the changes will be in all the layouts.
You need to make a copy of the drawing.
Delete unnecessary leyout, leave the desired layout and change the model.
Or you need to do title blocks only in the model.

This question needs more information and maybe a sample file.

Any solution offered at this point is a WAG.

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.

Thanks for your feedback I got the solution, this can be done by entering
in to model space of that particular viewport i.e paper space and freeze
the layer of line or block for the required portion..

That would have been the necessary type of information.
