Dynamic block Visibility State from Tool Palette

Hi there,

I have a dynamic block text where I insert from a tool pallet and it has a scale visibility state. When I insert the block and change the visibility scale I have to run an explode command to edit the text manualy.

I'm trying to make it so when I insert the block, I can select the visibility state and have it automatically explode at the end so I can edit the text right away. I have tried running a macro but It won't let me do a macro for visibility selection. It will only let me do an explode at the end of an insert.

I have attached the block and I hope someone here can help me with this.

Thank you.

Hi Peter,

I haven't found a way to prompt for visibility from a palette either. I have often times just put the block on the palette more than once with each instance set to the visibility state I want. Then I add a text label to help my users know which one is which.

yes, that is how I have it currently setup. Unless I can do a lisp would probably be helpful without having a dynamic block insert. All I'm trying to do is reduce the size of my tool pallet so its more simplified when inserting the text.

Hi Peter

I have not seen a routine that does this but it might be worth your time to explore the Customization forum to search for some solutions.
