DWG to JPG

I am trying to convert dwg to jpg. When I select all in layout view then enter COMMAND - JPGOUT I get the title and text but not the drawing. I've tried doing this in Model view i.e, select all - COMMAND - JPGOUT, I can view the drawing this way however, I need everything to be together in layout view. Can anyone offer advise on this please. I've attached two images fyi.

Hi Katharine,

I made a video to show what I am doing in AutoCAD 2017.

I created a new drawing with objects in modelspace. I switch to paperspace and see the model objects in the viewport. I type JPGOUT and then I prompted for a file name location, then another return accepts the default of paperspace objects and viewport.

Is this what you are trying to do or am I totally missing the question?
