Drawing setup/accidental command

Hi! I'm a student and have been using AutoCAD since 2019 in school setting but haven't really learned much about drawing set up. I accidentally entered an unknown command that changed some of my settings in AutoCAD. I use a laptop and sometimes my sleeve hovers over the trackpad and will tell the program to do something I'm not intending to do. Lame, I know. Is anyone able to take a look at my cad file and see what's up with my settings? The biggest issue I have since that incident is that I can't enter in values to create a rectangle. No matter what value I enter the rectangle seems to be oriented/snapping toward the axes points in the model space and creates a randomly large rectangle. I noticed last night that when I was close to the axes points, I was able to create a rectangle with values but when I was away from them, the same problem would occur. Halp!

Sounds like your SNAPMODE is on. Hit F9 key to de-activate it.

Thanks for your response! Unfortunately it did not work as the rectangle command still doesn't adhere to the values I enter.
