Drawing lines shown as broken in paper space Autocad 2016

Hi All,

I am generating paper space drawings in Autocad 2016 and I have this issue: my drawing lines look clean and defined at first sight but once I zoom in I can see that they are not aligned, broken and there are gaps between the various lines that don't exist in the model space.

Anyone knows how to fix this problem?

Please have a look at the images and let me know!

Hi there, Have you tried to regenerate/ refresh your screen? I know with AutoCAD that this sometimes happens when you zoom in and as soon as you type RE and ENTER to fixes it. Let me know if that changes it or if you still having the same issue.

Don't trust the display.

Set your units to maximum precision, and then use the DIST command to measure the distance between the endpoints (or near+perp, or whatever makes sense in the situation)

If the distance = 0.00000000 the it's a display issue. A Regen should fix it, unless you are working in coordinates that are in the tens of millions and zoomed way in.

Hi Nikki,

Yes I tried because I thought as you did that it was a graphic card problem but it's not. I still see the broken lines.

Hi Imad,

Thank you very much for the welcome.

I have attached the incriminated file. For copyright reasons I can't share the full model but I hope it will be enough to see if you can help me on this....

Have a look in the paper space - front leg on the left (this is just an example of the issue I have and that is extended to the whole model).

Hi,

even you you zoom in a lot and select the lines ... you don't see it?
Very interesting.

Anyway I tried to disable Hardware acceleration from 3DCONFIG and now it works!

Many many thanks! You spared me from a giga-headache!
