Drawing filename in preview instead of ACAD version

Hi ACAD forums

Is there any way to make filename show up in win previews instead of "Autodesk AutoCAD..." as shown in screenshot below.

It is very annoying not to be able to see which drawings I have open.

Use FILETABs inside AutoCAD/LT2017 instead of the Windows Taskbar method.

Thank you for your reply Pendean

However,

I do not want to do that, I seriously detest that feature and I need the option to move one or more drawings to another screen which I cannot do in tab mode.

You will need to search the web or Microsoft support for Windows Taskbar abilities, I'll get you started, I see a few promising posts here but I did not try them https://www.google.com/search?q=windows+taskbar%3A+how+to+hide+program+name

The file name display is dependent upon Windows, not AutoCAD. You should see the full path\file name when your cursor is hovering over the preview. I know it's not as convenient as you wish.

I just did a little playing around. The "Autodesk AutoCAD..." text echoes the main AutoCAD window title. If you drawing window is maximized then this is what appears. When you size the drawing window (upper right icon "Restore Down") Then the title of the restored down window (the drawing name) is displayed.
