I have modeled an object in AutoCAD 2009 in 3D space. From this I want to create dimensioned projection drawings so I apply FLATTEN to my model. All of the dimensions in the flattened drawing are slightly out e.g. 65.6 mm become 65.56 mm. (This is not a dimensioning precision issue).
How do I ensure that my flattened drawing is dimensionally accurate?

Do NOT use FLATTEN - use FLATSHOT.

Thanks. FLATSHOT did the trick.
A bit difficult to use, as it does not allow you to select a single object to flatten but flattens the entire model space.
There are a few other commands (SOLVIEW, SOLDRAW) I couldn't think of last night. You can look them up >>HERE<<
