How do you use the dimension command to actually change the size of the object?
Many years ago I use the dimension command all the time to change the size of of objects. For example if I made a rectangle and it was 7 by 5. I would use the dimension command to show me that it was 7 by 5 but lets say I wanted it to be 7 by 6 then I would just double click on the text that said 5 changed it to 6 and it would actually change the size from 5 to 6 not just changing the text like its doing now.
Is there anyway to do it now?
If we are talking about AutoCAD you must use one of the DC... commands (DCLINEAR, DCRADIUS, ...), usually in combination with other geometric constraints.
