Difficulty in removing File References Bar

GoodDay fellow AutoCAD community.

I'm a student, stuck on a issue no one around my community seems to have an answer for on AutoCAD 2017 version. The issue is;By unfortunate means I created a pathway Bar for file references

on my Template drawing Home pages without meaning to. This File Reference bar is positioned right above my Tools Bar, making my drawing screen at the bottom quiet small.

"How do I remove this File Reference Bar, , please assist me?"

File Reference bar provides Details in Vertical of the Drawing you are currently editing then....

Thank you
Khwezi

Have you tried:
Command LOCKUI --> 0
to make the docked/floating window accessible?
-or-
Command REFCLOSE

???

Hi,

And if it is not locked then click and hold your left mousebutton at the point marked as rectangle and move it into the direction like the arrow shows until it does not show the window-locked preview rectangle.

You can also right-click at that position and disable "allow docking".

Thanks Mr Alfred. Worked. Just pressed the side of the Bar then it narrowed the bar and gave a Cross-close option at the side.

Thanks and kind regards
