dead box in maximized window

clean install of 2025 edition.

When launching the program and maximizing the window, a dead box (highlighted in yellow) apears under the UI; the buttons (model, grid, workspace, etc) don't even work.

I am unable to get rid of it.

Already uninstalled and reinstalled the software

Did you restart your PC yet? Your video card is not keeping up with the new 2025 graphics changes in the newer program.

After that... Start 2025 then set GFXDX12 to 0 (that's a zero) and restart the program.

Thanks for the advice, I will attempt to set GFXDX12 to 0.

I did restart the computer and even set graphics to high performance
