Hello,
I want to make a line type like attached image 1. Is this possible to do without using a shape? You can see what it does on the curved sections. It does lineup the ends of the shapes. I want the center line to be continuous.

Hi,

If you find a font that has a character looking like your linetype, then yes.
If you want to ask if we know such a character then please upload a bigger image, this here is much too small.

Thank you for your reply.
I'm not trying to have font in this line type. I just want to draw lines that look like this but more continues and that flows better.

If you don't want to use a character of that font you need to use shapes.
That would have been my solution, simply using char "="
*ANTEST01,--=--=--=--=--=-- A,2,["=",STANDARD,S=2,U=0.0,X=0.00,Y=-1.00],2
...but if you don't like fonts and don't like shapes ...

Oh I understand what you mean now. Yes using the "=" would do it.
Thanks!

If you use a Text Style with a single-line .shx font assigned, such as ROMANS or SIMPLEX or TXT, rather than a .ttf font such as ARIAL, then the marks on either side will be the same "weight" as the center-path part, as in the OP's images, rather than heavier as they look in @Alfred.NESWADBA 's image [or sometimes lighter, depending on the plotted lineweight applicable to the center-path part]. You can do that either by assigning such a font to the STANDARD Style, or by defining a Style for the purpose and using that in the linetype definition.
The line type worked in regular AutoCAD but looked like this in the Plant3D Iso.dwt file.
Any clues why it looks like this? And thank you for the help so far!
Hi,
look to these variables:

Hi,
did you run _REGEN after you change these settings?
If so then please

Is the text Style called for in the linetype definition [whether STANDARD or you've made a different one] defined with a fixed and/or annotative height?
