Custom hatch pattern does not work

Hi,
i am having trouble by creating custom hatches, i have tried by creating it as a separate .pat file and by inserting it in the "acad.pat".
what happens is that i see my custom hatch listed on my hatches while drawing in model space, but when i use the "hatch" command and try to apply the custom hatch it simply does not apply it and switches it to ANSI31.
this happens ONLY when i try to hatch with my custom hatch.

Hatch script is simple, it is this:

*PROVAPROVA, TEST
18, 0.375,0, 0.1068,0.2784, 0.3943,-0.1123

i though i didn't write it properly so i copied an existing one (ANSI33) and i have the same problem..
 any idea/suggestion?

[obviously is needed to change the extension to ".pat" on the attached files]

Use a text editor to add a blank line at the end of your ACAD.PAT and try again.
