Cursor delay when in virtual environent

Looking for advice on reducing cursor delay/ lag when working within a Virtual environment in this case VMware Horizon client. Is there resources or Autodesk Personal that I can be linked to help out our IT team improve these issues?

When initial testing was carried out the mouse was impossible to use with the crosshairs cursor on. It was taking considerable effort to land the crosshairs on any geometry. Your hand would ping pong back and forth across the geometry point before landing. I would call this lag/ delay where the users hand was moving faster than the screen.

A solution to speed this up was to remove the crosshairs using cursortype command 0 or 1. This has the disadvantage of your click point being inaccurate. The cursor delay has not been total removed and is definitely tiresome if doing extensive work in that environment.

Is it the internet speed controlling the graphics at fault here? Any tips on ways to test what is happening to gain some data?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Have you seen this yet from Autodesk on the topic

https://www.autodesk.com/support/technical/article/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/AutoCAD-on-Citrix-...

And don't skip all the additional links at the bottom of the page either.
