Crosshair Pline

Is there a setting to enlarge the temporary starting point crosshair when drawing a pline?

There is no built in feature of AutoCAD that will only increase the cursor or crosshair  size when drawing a pline. You could perhaps write/find a macro or lisp routine that would change the cursorsize before the command and then reset it after you complete the command. Another option might be to find Windows add-in to let you do this.

thanks that's what i guessed seeing how it is very insignificant feature to have additional options for.

That appears to be a BLIP [though the one being green  is something I haven't seen before -- maybe a version-dependent thing].  Whether  Blips appear or not is controlled by the BLIPMODE System Variable, which you can also set via .BLIPMODE [note the preceding period/decimal] as a command, but I haven't ever seen a way to set the size  of them.  Your Windows screen resolution settings may affect it.

In addition to BLIPMODE If you would like to get a permanent point you could turn on the variable

APBOX <1>

and increase its size with the variable APERTURE <1 to 50>
