Cross hair color

AutoCAD 2017 My cross hairs are red but when I move them over an image or hatch they become a faint cyan color and very difficult to see. I have looked in options a million times but nothing fixes it. It has to be a setting. Cross hair opaque maybe or a system variable. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I can change the color no problem, however no mater what color I make the cross hairs they look as though they go behind an image or hatch when I hover them over the hatch or image. The cross hairs are there they are just a faint cyan color but where there is no hatch or image the cross hairs show up the color I made them.

Hmm... try to turn off the graphics acceleration if that changes the thing.

I know how to change the color of my cross hairs. I just want then to stop disappearing when I hover over an image or hatch.

I checked that. It is off. Does your do that? I have a co worker and her does the same thing. I have tried everything I can think of.

It inverts a color if HW is off. It does not if HW is on.

Graphic card: NVIDIA Quadro. Different cards may behave differently.
