Type in UNITS at the command line and verify the insertion scales are the same for both drawings.

Hi, thanks for getting back to me so quickly.
Both the units in the floor plan and the units in the block i'm importing are set to mm?
I'm relatively new to this, so please be kind to me.
Thank you.

Are you pasting them into the other drawing or are you inserting it in? If your inserting, verify the scale is set to 1, 1, 1. If you're pasting then the issue could be in the block. Have you taken a look at the dimensions of the original block in the block editor? Or can you provide us the drawings to review ourselves?

I'm betting the import was not scaled up to 1:1 and is still in paper space dimensions.

Hi,
how can I check this?
Hi,
how can I check this?
Measure a known distance.
Measure a known distance.
Open up just the block dwg. Check the units and measure the block. If it's not what is expected, you can scale it up or down with SCALE with the reference option to what it should be. Save it and it should insert correct from now on.
