Copy and Paste Not Working

This happens periodically and seems to be more prevalent when a lot of drawings are open at once, so it can be pretty disrupting to my workflow. Here is an example of what happens:

I will open a bunch of drawings and control-v (or control-shift-v, it doesn't matter) and it will say "_copyclip 21 found". Then when I paste it will say "_pasteclip" but nothing happens. It won't paste into other programs either, so it appears that my clipboard is empty. There are no errors and the problem goes away when I restart AutoCAD.

I attached some of the files I was working on when it happened most recently. Thanks in advance for any help!

Expand the commandline to be 5-10 lines tall, then try your copy/paste actions while watching it: is there a error at the PASTECLIP portion of the action? You never quite say.

If the problem goes away with an AutoCAD restart, then hare with us a screenshot of your ABOUT command popup, an confirm your Windows version please.

I have no issues using copy/paste in R2023.1.3 in Win10Pro here.

This is not  a problem in your DWG files, that's an AutoCAD problem with an internal memory managment

which no end user can say more about it (if somebody canshow or  explain it: Tell us 😉 )

I'll look at the expanded commandline the next time it happens. I think that it might have to do with a plugin that I'm using from AXIOM called "office importer" because it uses the clipboard a lot.

One of my colleagues that is having this same problem found that inserting a block, browse to select a block, then cancel, the problem goes away. It seems to "reset" the clipboard. I will also try this the next time I have this problem and let you guys know what happens.
